“36 Hours: Oaxaca, Mexico” from the NY Times

On Thursday, January 12, 2012, Freda A Moon of the NY Times wrote a wonderful article on experiencing Oaxaca, MX.

The article provides a mystic three day tour of Mezcal, Food, the culture of the Centro, night life, cafe’s and the arts.

Her experiences paint a wonderful picture of Oaxaca and hence the love I have for the City and the heritage it brings my family.

To read the full article, visit: http://travel.nytimes.com/2012/01/15/travel/36-hours-oaxaca-mexico.html For those of you seeking a Spring vacation, I’d recommend visiting Oaxaca. The ruins of Monte Alban and the large tree of Tule are spots you can access from downtown within minutes (even in traffic).

While you’re there, you can visit our ranch, Rancho Buenaventura, and take another tour of a family-owned mezcal factory and agave farm.

Thank you Freda for sharing your story with all of us. It warms my soul.
