The recipe for the Fresno Margarita is as follows:
- 1 ¾ oz – Sacacuentos Anejo Mezcal
- 2 wheels of Fresno chiles
- 1 sprig of thyme
- 1 oz fresh lime juice
- 1 oz simple syrup
Fill glass ¼ of way with cubed ice and place fresno chiles and thyme in glass. Muddle chiles so they start to break down. Pour mezcal, lime juice and simple syrup into glass add ice and shake 5 to 7 times. Pour into glass with salted rim. Add Fresno chile wheel for garnish.
